Overview

Ckÿph Qehd Hewvlåy Hånblolz was founded durring the late 16th century in spring of the year 1495, by Goggaginn Reblåz. The establishment of Ckÿph Qehd Hewvlåy Hånblolz was plagued by a lack of willing colonists. After attempts to pay people to resettle failed Goggaginn Reblåz struck deals with nearby nations and communities to establish Ckÿph Qehd Hewvlåy Hånblolz as a prison colony.

Ckÿph Qehd Hewvlåy Hånblolz was built using the conventions of Dwarvern durring the late 16th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Ckÿph Qehd Hewvlåy Hånblolz is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature delicute timber framework hidden behind layer upon layer of finly ground plaster bleached to an almost glossy white sheen, with green clay tiled roofs and decorative brass-leafed trim. Even the smallest, poorest looking structures appear to be expencive thanks to the extreem elegence of the organic shapes and paterns going into their lofty, spire-y, vagly gothic designs. The more well off folks live in identicle homes, save for even shiner trim and a more whimsical appearance to their structures flowing forms.

Ckÿph Qehd Hewvlåy Hånblolz is buildings are located arround a single crampt worn bedrock mainstreet which forms a clockwise spiral to give the city a over all circular shape. The city is defended by arcane means. It's hard to spot at first, but there's a tell tell shimmer in the air arround Ckÿph Qehd Hewvlåy Hånblolz, and you can spot the ocasional warding glyph carved into a rock or tree all arround town. These mystical defences are ancient, unknowable, and unassailable by current means... Assuming everything is in working order. Otherwise, the wards are little more than a deathtrap. The Relic of the World That Was has suffered a visible ammount of structural damage, leaving them effectivly useless. One can't help but wonder why the has not yet effected repairs.

Your first impression of Ckÿph Qehd Hewvlåy Hånblolz proves to be right on the money. This city is where the rebels chose to settle. Fashion trends are quite simply the opposite of what’s popular in the other nearby communities. THis trend extends everywhere. Things that should be black are white, what would normally be square is organically curved, and what is typically unthinkable for polite society is more than welcome in this public square. Up to the logical limits, of course. There’s no flaying someone alive to eat their skin going on, but the women are dressed a little immodestly, the men are a little more emotional, and the food is all overly complex and terrible.

Points of Interest

Ckÿph Qehd Hewvlåy Hånblolz was unknowingly built atop something unstable, and now that substrate is crumbling. It may be swampy ground or a decaying coastline, or it could be an ancient buried city that’s now giving way. In the case of some antique habitation, the denizens that once lived there might be boiling upward as their home is collapsing, or new opportunities may be revealed even as the community’s present structure is ruined.

Ckÿph Qehd Hewvlåy Hånblolz's is something of a geological and arcane anomaly, as neither physical nor magical law entirely explains its formation.
